Thank You, Singapore and Hong Kong! WordPress Is Just the Best
A satirical note on suspicious traffic, default settings, and the illusion of security.
Thank you to everyone from Singapore and Hong Kong for visiting!
Thanks to you, Cloudflare Analytics has become my new favorite form of entertainment.
By the way, WordPress is just the best.
Security? I’m an old man, so I don’t know much about that stuff.
But I got worried, so I installed about three layers of the “Security Best Friend” plugin!
It’s gotten a bit heavier, but I feel much safer now.
After all, WordPress becomes stronger the more plugins you install, right?
I don’t really understand the settings, but it looks like everything is already included.
The default settings should be enough, right?
And if you install the recommended plugins, it feels even safer.
Everyone should use it!
I wonder if I should try tweaking the settings someday...
Well, it sounds like a bit of a hassle, though.
Anyway, if something happens, I’m sure the plugin will handle it.
Oh yeah, and apparently it’s best to use the same ID and password everywhere.
I mean, if you try to make them different, you might forget them, right?
And if you’re afraid of forgetting them, you end up making them all kind of similar anyway.
Apparently, that can be even more dangerous.
I don’t know for sure, though.
